Iran Releases 15 British Sailors but Remains Threat to Europe
“Iran’s release of the 15 British sailors is welcome but does not detract from the continued threat which the Islamic Republic poses to Britian and Europe,“ says Simon Barrett, the Director of IMIA, International Media Intelligence Analysis. “Indeed, this affair simply highlights the audaciousness of the regime and must continue to focus the world on ways in which Iran’s growing strength can be curtailed. As it continues to develop nuclear weapons in defiance of the will of the international community, strong and substantive economic sanctions spearheaded by governments are the surest way to work for peace,“ continued Mr. Barrett.
